Business Development Executive

Joe Kelsch has spent the last 30 years working as a trusted adviser for family offices, ultra-affluent families, privately held businesses, and institutions. He has worked for Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Royal Bank of Canada and Credit Suisse, providing advice on traditional investment strategies and alternative investments including, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate and oil and gas. In addition to his work in the investment world, he has also advised families both domestic and international, on philanthropic planning, legacy issues, business succession, asset protection, in addition to complex estate and tax mitigation solutions.

Most recently, Joe has worked directly for three family offices (two domestic, and one from South Korea) and successfully launched 3 early stage companies which provided him with operational experience as a business owner.

Additionally, Joe has established a vast network of individuals, professionals, and firms, developed through not only his career, but his time at Northwestern University. This network extends through several disciplines, including finance, legal, media, entertainment, fine art, philanthropy, and risk management.

Joe was born in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Economic. Joe and his wife, Renee, reside in Barrington, IL and have 2 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, and when time permits, golf, tennis, upland and waterfowl hunting and giving back to his community. He serves his community as a Board Member of the Barrington Area Development Council, is on the Allocation Committee for the Barrington United Way, and is a member of the Barrington Lions Club. He is former Chairman of the Board for The Adoption Connection.
